This Privacy Policy explains how SecureNotebook ("we", "our", or "the app") handles your data. We are committed to maintaining the absolute privacy and security of your personal information and notes.
SecureNotebook is built on a zero-knowledge security model:
To enable synchronization across multiple devices, encrypted backups of your database are securely transferred to cloud infrastructure (hosted via Google Firebase). Because the database is fully encrypted prior to transmission, the servers only store encrypted binary blobs. Neither we, Google, nor any third party can access, read, or decrypt the contents of your synced data.
If you create an account to facilitate sync, we only store essential credentials (such as your email address and securely hashed authentication tokens) required to authenticate your devices.
You have complete control over your data. You may delete individual notes, wipe your synchronized cloud backups, or permanently delete your entire account directly in the app under Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us at support@sheleh.app. Deleting your account immediately and permanently erases all associated authentication records and cloud-stored encrypted blobs - this happens right away as part of account deletion, not on a delay. Note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play; those must be cancelled separately through your store account settings.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at: support@sheleh.app.
